ZELDA

HS 4b, 4b / 55 metres

Film: 38 minutes

A brilliant route for it’s grade with two contrasting pitches - the first taking you up and above the tree line, and the second exposing you to a space walk fit for the gods.

Balancey climbing, sweet and stylish.

The crux of this route could well be finding the start! Deep in the trees, at the base of Wintour’s Leap.

Like Freedom, Zelda lies in the Lancaut Nature Reserve, where climbing access is dependent on a few rules being followed - so:

No camping, starting fires, nor littering; and don’t damage any vegetation.

Keep an eye out for dormice in the woods - and peregrine falcons wheeling overhead.
